Every year, during “lab day” EMBL has a contest of fun posters, that depict the lab in a funny way, while mentioning the lab scientific activity. It is a great way to unleash one’s creativity while reaching out to the whole institute.
This year, our lab decided to replace the fun poster by an art gallery, and each piece of art was a result of our work in the lab.
Since I’m a developper for the software Cytosim which produces beautiful simulations, I decided to go for a music video illustrating the first stages of platelet activation – in a uselessly artsy way. I also had a great time composing and playing the music !
