We have two internship opportunities available for a Master student for the university year 2018/2019.
1- Simulation of aster centering :
Using an existing simulation engine, the student will seek to understand how microtubule properties (mechanics & dynamics) influence the entering of a microtubule aster.
This will involve basic knowledge of biology, physics, and scripting.
2- Modeling of chiral filaments :
The student will implement a model of chiral filamentous polymers and compare it to analytical results, in order to understand the role of chirality in filament network mechanics.
This will require solid understanding of analytical mechanics and programming.
